Abstract
Core cross-linked star polymers based on poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) with an extremely low glass transition temperature (-124 °C) are used to form honeycomb materials via the 'breath figure' technique - the soft-flowing nature of poly(dimethylsiloxane) enables the coating of particulate surfaces with an ordered honeycomb material. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.
