Objectives Identify the role of ultrasound in trauma. Understand the technique of neurovascular examination. Identify normal neurovascular appearance and injury. Understand ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. Understand ultrasound-guided vascular cannulation. SUMMARY Ultrasound examination plays an increasingly important role in trauma management and anesthesia.
