Abstract
A click-chemistry approach to synthesize bioresponsive poly(ethylene glycol acrylate) particles is described. The particles are loaded with a model anticancer drug (doxorubicin, DOX), and undergo simultaneous particle deconstruction and DOX release upon specific activation by the simulated environment of the cellular cytoplasm. © 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
