Post-neo-avantism: Is there an 'out there' out there any longer?

This paper identifies aporias in contemporary critical and anthologizing notice given to new poetry. The assertion of a new de-centred plurality in English literatures, for instance, presents such a vast range that the canon-making selections in major anthologies reduce and absorb this pluralism into an ongoing canonical narrative of historical change. No real revolution or true diversity can arise against such forces.
