Abstract
Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures may sometimes be subjected to more than just a single bomb blast event. Explosions might occur a second or more time resulting from different blast sources associated with a particular blast incident. Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) has been used to strengthen RC structures subjected to various types of loadings, such as static, wind, earthquake and even blast loadings. This paper is concerned with the behavior of FRP strengthened RC slabs that have been subjected to two independent explosions. Two FRP strengthening schemes, namely an FRP sandwich and single sided FRP strengthening, were investigated in this experimental study. Test results show that the RC..
