Abstract

We report a case of primary splenic lymphoma incidentally detected on abdominal ultrasound as a well-defined homogenous hypoechoic splenic mass. Further characterization with contrast enhanced ultrasound showed the mass to enhance homogenously during the arterial phase to a degree similar to that of the normal splenic parenchyma followed by rapid washout becoming hypoenhanced on delayed phase. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
