On modeling and control for a maglev system

Abstract

In this note, a nonlinear model of a single electromagnet with two control inputs used in a maglev system is developed. A nonlinear feedback controller is then designed using feedback linearization. The performance of the proposed method is illustrated by simulations. © 2010 IFAC.
