Digitized RF-over-fiber technique as an efficient solution for wideband wireless OFDM delivery

Abstract

1-GHz bandwidth OFDM signal at 10-GHz is transmitted error-free using digitized RFover-fiber with 4-bit ADC resolution and 4-Gbps optical data rate. Better-linearity, longerdistance, lower-received power, and simpler BS are achieved in comparison with analog RoF. © 2012 OSA.
