Abstract
INTRODUCTION Embryo culture is frequently mistaken for a relatively simple procedure. In reality, it is a complex task, requiring proactive quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure the optimum performance of the laboratory and equipment, together with a high level of training for embryologists. Furthermore, a sucient number of suitable incubation chambers are required to maintain a stable environment for development in vitro.
