Abstract
Much is now known about the short-and long-term sequelae of pediatric acquired brain injury, with impairments found in general intellectual ability and in more specific domains, including attention, memory, executive functioning (e.g., planning and organization) and educational achievement (e.g., spelling and arithmetic). More recently, researchers have investigated behavioral, adaptive, social and mental health outcomes, and similarly, difficulties have been reported in these domains.
