Climatic conditions and the reporting of sun-protective behavior survey data: A brief report

Abstract

Sun-protective behavior surveys were conducted at the Brisbane Cricket Ground over the summer of 1999/2000 cricket season. Respondents were asked a number of questions relating to sun protection. Respondents' sun-protective behavior at the time of questioning was observed and recorded. The survey results highlight an issue that is yet to be comprehensively addressed within the literature on sun-protective behavior; that is, what effect do prevailing climatic conditions have on sun-protective behaviors?
