3-λ characterization of phase response for optical receivers

Abstract
We propose a novel digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm for photodiode characterization probed by three wavelengths. The DSP algorithm has low computational complexity. The required number of measurements increases logarithmically with the number of spectral points. For the first time to our knowledge, the phase response of photodiode is characterized up to 20 GHz. © 2014 Optical Society of America.
