Surface plasmons in periodically coupled gold nanoparticles: A semi-analytical model

Abstract
The surface plasmon coupling between gold nanoparticles in a periodic array is theoretically modeled. The calculated dispersion relation and loss properties of an array of chains at air/glass interface agree well with FDTD simulation results. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
