Slide tracheoplasty with concomitant aortic arch repair in a low-weight neonate

Abstract

We report the successful surgical management of a hypoplastic aortic arch, severe tracheal stenosis, and acute respiratory failure in a low-birth-weight neonate. The technical details that facilitated concomitant slide tracheoplasty and aortic arch reconstruction are discussed. © 2014 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
