Abstract

Background: Insulin is a high-risk medication that is available in a range of products with potential for harm if administration errors occur. Anecdotally, insulin product knowledge among hospital health professionals is poor. Aim: To develop and evaluate an insulin e-learning module to improve the knowledge of hospital health professionals of insulin products and their appropriate use.
