The first decade following China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2001 has seen dramatic reforms to China's economy and increases in the breadth and depth of China's engagement with the international trading order. Many have commented positively on China's engagement with the international trading regime, citing its considerable responsiveness to the dispute resolution panel's rulings.
