Abstract
Shot on super 8 film & edited in camera, 'Sweet Beast' represents the first in a series of research films investigating the simpler pleasures of film making - a handmade, lo-fi approach to creating story on film. Does it still have merit? Can glances into technological memory and more physically tangible ways of 'making' help us get in touch with the basics of story?
