War, Peace and the Places in Between: Why Borderlands are Central

Abstract

International intervention in post-conflict economies can exacerbate the challenges of transformation. The contributors to Critical Perspectives on the Political Economy of Peacebuilding are experts on key issues that tend to be neglected in the approaches to peacebuilding. This collection reaches beyond the technical approaches of international financial institutions and agencies of the liberal peace.
