High index contrast circular bragg reflector on silicon-on-insulator with flat and broadband spectrum

In this paper, we propose a deeply etched high refractive index contrast circular Bragg reflector. Results show that 0.975 peak reflection and over 316 nm operation bandwidth (<5% variation) can be achieved simultaneously.
