Broadband bragg grating mirror based on circular and horizontal slot silicon waveguides for TM0 mode

Abstract
A circular Bragg grating mirror based on horizontal slot waveguides are proposed for the fundamental TM-mode. 3D-FDTD simulation results show that high reflectance of >0.9 and a broad 1 dB-bandwidth of >120 nm can be achieved.
