Abstract
The reliabilities of the scales of the Personal Orientation Inventory (POI) are investigated and found to be between 0.21 and 0.73. After commenting on the reasons for these low estimates of reliability and reviewing other psychometric properties, it is concluded that the POI can be reasonably and meaningfully used as part of a clinical assessment battery. © 1986.
