Abstract
An extensive programme of developments on the scanning proton microprobe in Melbourne is described. These developments involve new designs of the specimen chamber, magnetic quadrupole lenses, scanning system and data collection system, extension of the data analysis and handling system and the development of a new overall control system. © 1982.
