Abstract

Recent years have witnessed a significant increase in the number of Australians living and working in Asia. With the expectation of increasing global mobility, there has emerged a need to better understand the motivations and experiences of Australians relocating overseas to further align policies and practices to the emerging realities of Australia-Asia relations. The Survey of Australians living and working in Asia was commissioned by the Expert Working Group for the Asia Literacy: Language and Beyond project under the ACOLA Securing Australia’s Future program.
