Abstract

We have further explored the use of Reversible Addn.-Fragmentation Chain Transfer (RAFT) polymn. to synthesize porous polymer monoliths for flow chem. RAFT polymn. provides control over morphol., pore size distribution, flow properties and, importantly, a method of introducing surface functionality by surface-initiated RAFT polymn. RAFT polymn. thereby facilitates the application of monoliths as stoichiometric and catalytic reaction supports in continuous flow synthesis. [on SciFinder(R)]
