Abstract
Dextromethorphan was N-demethylated using the non-classical Polonovski reaction under continuous flow conditions, in two steps: initial N-oxidation with m-chloroperbenzoic acid followed by iron-catalysed N-demethylation of the resulting N-oxide. © 2013 CSIRO.
