Abstract
Abstract The adsorption isotherms of a polydisperse nonyl phenol ethoxylate onto various hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces are presented. The slope of the isotherms are discussed in terms of the surface sites available for adsorption and the mode by which the surfactant is attached to the different surfaces. It is concluded that at maximum adsorption there is monolayer coverage of the solid surfaces. © 1982, Elsevier Scientific Publishing Company.
