Abstract

This paper discusses several operational aspects concerning application of the SFB model. Results are presented on the application of the SFB model to 168 catchments located in south-eastern Australia. The paper includes a discussion of the standard of modelling achieved, as well as the range of parameter values obtained by calibration. The dependency of the parameter values upon certain catchment characteristics is investigated. Also included are the results of a comparison undertaken between extimates of potential evapotranspiration obtained from pan evaporation data, Penman's equation, and the wet environmental estimates of Morton.
