Dr Jon Quach is interested in research at the health and education interface. Drawing upon the fundamental understanding that children’s health and development are intrinsically linked, he aims to determine how children's academic outcomes are shaped by common health problems during the early years of school, and what interventions can be used within primary schools to best to address these problems.

He conducts large scale, efficacy and effectiveness randomised controlled trials of promising interventions to understand which interventions work best in improving children's health and development in the long-term so children can reach their academic potential.
