Simon Bell

 

Simon is professor of marketing at the University of Melbourne. Previously Simon worked at the Judge Business School at Cambridge University where he remains a fellow.

He has worked extensively with industry for the purposes of research, consulting and executive education, working with firms such as Goldman Sachs, Telstra, Shell, Agricultural Bank of China, IBM, Clayton Utz, and PWC, among others. He writes and consults on a range of issues including sales force management, services and relationship marketing, and customer satisfaction and loyalty. His research has focused on the retail and financial services industries and has been published in leading international journals such as the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing, Academy of Management Review, Harvard Business Review, and the Sloan Management Review. Simon also sits on a number of editorial boards including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
